6:30 pm - 7:30 Tahitian Aerobics YMCA North. Taught by Connie Becker. Free to YMCA members and $8.00 to non-members.

6:30- 7:30 Starting May 12th Beginners’ Middle Eastern Belly Dance class at Prophecy Arts Dance studio on 1369 East Lafayette, Ste. B. Located across from Governor's Square Mall behind the Rally's Tallahassee, Florida (in the Clothesline Plaza.) Taught by Amy Warrick. $10.00 per class.

8:00-9:30 pm Middle Eastern Dance Intermediate/Advanced - In Step Studio. Taught by Nancy Redig. Classes emphasize advanced techniques in finger cymbals, use of props for balancing, floor work, single veil/double veil/circular veil, and explore different styles of Oriental Dance. $8.00 per class.

6:30 pm -8:00 pm Intermediate/Advanced Polynesian Dance - In Step Studio. Taught by Nancy Redig. This class introduces more complex Hula choreography as taught by master teachers(kumu), drills in Tahitian technique and works on refinement of basic hula steps. $8.00 per class.

7:00 pm -8:00 pm Beginning Middle Eastern Class - Continuing Education at Bainbridge Community College for the month of May. Taught by Amy Warrick. Call (229)248-2516 and speak with Dawn about registration.

6:30-7:45pm Middle Eastern Dance: Beyond Basic. In Step Studio Taught by Amy Warrick. This is the next step after the beginning classes. The class includes breakdown of steps, hip work, a variety of finger cymbals patterns, veil work, and introduction to the various cultures in the Middle East. A dancer needs to have the basic movements of Middle Eastern dance before starting this class. $8.00 a class.

7:30 - 8:45 pm On Going Beginning Polynesian Dance Class - YMCA North Taught by Sharon Schwerzel. This is an on going, beginner's class with basics in Hawaiian Hula, Tahitian and Maori (New Zealand). The emphasis is on learning basic steps, beginner choreography and having fun. Free to YMCA members and $8.00 for nonmembers.

We have two performing troups Mau'oli'oli Dancers and Troupe Arabesque. Both groups enjoy our community, private party, and educational opportunities. All performers are drawn from the regular classes. Information on performances is provided during class cool down and stretch out. Special rehearsals are called as needed.

In Step Studio - 2609 Glover Road Glover Road is 4 miles south of the intersection of Capitol Circle and Crawfordville Road; it runs between Wakulla Springs Road (SR 61) and Crawfordville Highway (US 319). In Step Studio has mirrors along one wall and the floor is a true floating floor with mulitple foam layers under 2 layer of plywood and capped with a nearly indestructible dance floor covering. The studio has a great sound system and lots of sunlight. My studio carries dance costuming, dance music and various dance props. Safety and parking are never issues

YMCA - North Monroe Street YMCA facilities are at 3840 North Monroe Street, north of Interstate 10. Follow North Monroe past the Tallahassee Mall, continue over I-10. The Y is at the corner of Fred George Road and North Monroe. This will be the left side of the street as you are going north. Classes are held in the Aerobics room. You must wear soft soled shoes for this class. The room has mirrors on all sides and is brand new Facility!!!
